Three Leadership Shifts for 2026: A Reflection from Positively Philly
This week, I had the joy of joining Positively Philly for a short conversation about leadership—not the kind defined by job titles, but the kind that shapes how we live.
Because leadership isn’t reserved for the workplace. It belongs to all of us. Before we lead teams or organizations, we are first called to lead ourselves.
As we look toward 2026, I shared three leadership shifts that feel especially important right now:
Lead with heart.
When we lead from what truly matters to us, our decisions become clearer and more grounded.
Stay open and curious.
We don’t need all the answers. Curiosity creates space for learning—and confidence grows from there.
Put action behind your intentions.
Intentions matter, but without action, they remain dreams. Even small steps create momentum.
These reflections echo many of the themes in The Long Way Here—stories and journaling prompts designed to support you in leading your life with intention.
If you’re stepping into a new chapter, I hope this short conversation meets you where you are.
